Antti Asikainen is the executive vice president for research Natural Resources Institute Finland. He also is a research professor of forest technology and operations. His areas of expertise include forest technology, wood sourcing and forest management and climate interaction, bioenergy and logistics. Asikainen acts as the chairman of the Finnish Forest Bioeconomy Science Panel.
